cost high for the area and not reflective of the prevailing rates

The pool and gardens were lovely. The bathroom was nice.
The room seemed fairly basic for the price, and I think although we booked the double room and were charged at that rate, the room we were given was a more expensive room, but I'm not sure what warranted this as it seemed fairly small and lacking in furniture. The restaurant was overpriced in comparison to all the other restaurants in the area and the bar was also overpriced. Wine was served in the bar in a 14cl glass and although it states this on the menu it was a disappointingly small glass of wine for 6 euros.

Nestled in the Vezere valley, surrounded by breathtaking views, Les Glycines offers access to all the major prehistoric sites and is located in a quiet area. the restaurant boasts of a narrow menu with excellent dishes and wooden deck lounge overlooking the garden. the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. In-room facilities include a good mattress, heated towel racks, closets, and metal etageres. the hotel also has a lovely garden with swimming pool, creating a perfect spot for relaxation.
One negative aspect is that the staff can be unhelpful when it comes to problem-solving.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Benouville. The location, situated on a corner close to the railway line, was perfect for exploring the beautiful town and its surrounding areas. The hotel's tranquil atmosphere made it the ideal retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptional in their service, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The calm surroundings, pleasant & helpful staff, fine dining.
The choice of rooms on the website was only the most expensive available at the hotel. I would have liked to see what else was available, if anything. Also there was only a bathtub with hand held shower i.e. not a proper wall mounted showerhead.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely English Garden and amenties
Hotel is based on a road, therefore it's important to ask for rooms overlooking the courtyard or gardens. The food is amazing but very very expensive. Be warned

We enjoyed the hotel and it's dining room , coupled with it's location , so much that we extended our stay by an additional day. The staff and management were a delight to deal with.
The breakfast needs improving . Not good value and far to repetitive

Quiet and peaceful hotel with beautifully decorated and immaculate rooms. The warm and soothing shades of taupe used in the rooms provided a cozy atmosphere. The park-like garden in the back of the hotel with the pool and comfortable lounge chairs was a real plus for relaxation.
While the food was generally good, the wines were expensive, especially the Bordeaux. Service during lunch could have been better, with some of the staff appearing arrogant and non-attentive.

The character of the hotel and the general ambience was very good. We were made to feel very much at home in a very relaxed atmosphere. The location of the hotel was very good in terms of proximity to the local town and to other activities.

Felt very comfortable Beautifully presented
Not very geared to providing snacks away from normal eating times- lunchtime a set formal menu was the only thing on offer. (without some persuasion!)
